He opens his mouth then closes it, unable to form words despite the fact that there are very limited options to answer a question like that. Hao seems to take Hanbin’s silence for rejection because he starts speaking before Hanbin can.
“Sorry, you don’t have to answer that. That was a stupid question. I only meant that—”
“I would,” Hanbin says. “I would kiss you.”

Hanbin stared into Hao’s eyes for what felt like an eternity. The quietness of the next few beats presaged the calm before the storm.
“You’ve never kissed me while drunk,” Hanbin muttered. His voice was low, yet latched with so much anguish it Hao wondered whether he was hallucinating the whole thing. “So why him?”
