Summary
The High Fae of Prythian are slow to trust and even slower to change so while the peace talks and trade with the human lands and between courts are not prospering like Feyre had hoped they would, at least things were quiet.
Everyone is grateful for the tentative peace they have enjoyed in the 3 years since the ending of ACOSF but the ultra relaxed stance of the inner circle grates on Azriel's nerves as Illyrians start to go missing at the edges of their borders.
There is something sinister targeting the courts of Prythian and the Night Court’s Spymaster finds it increasingly aggravating that he can’t pinpoint the source. What will he decide to do when he is faced with the possibility of losing so much, even things he didn’t realize he had?
