    Because there’s one thing that’s unfamiliar. One difference from his usual waking up from a coma routine. Sometimes Chopper is there, checking on him and startled when he’s awake. Sometimes Luffy is in the room, sleeping in a chair while leaning on his bed, or eating some food that was no doubt left for Zoro himself lest he wake up. Sometimes it’s the middle of the night when he wakes up. There are small changes, but otherwise it’s typically the same. This change is notable in its monumentality.

    Zoro wakes up injured and with no memory of what happened to him. Usually this wouldn’t bother him, if not for how strange Sanji is acting.
