“You came all the way here,” she insisted. “I don’t want to be rude and kick you out. And in any manner, I’m due for a break.”
“If… I mean if you insist,” Kiana said hesitantly, but inside she wanted to giggle and text Bronya and Mei about how the really cute chicken farmer just told me to go on a walk with her. She could save that for later though.
