One flick of her wrist would make all the difference between her life and death.Wanda expected death to take her when she toppled the mountain over her, prayed for it even. She wanted nothing more than to redeem herself from her horrendous actions. She called for death as quickly as it took her loved ones away.
However, death does not respond.
Time did.

Summary
With a glance at the door, Wednesday reached over to poke the oval-shaped object beside Enid’s contraption, which she dimly recalled the wolf mentioning was referred to as a “mouse”, (despite it being closer in size to a small rat, and also completely unlike a rodent in any and all ways,) only for the entire image on screen to move.
The cubed hog was now in the left corner. She blinked. This time, she reached over to grasp the “mouse” and paid more active attention when she moved it.
Fascinating. Again, being very generous with the imagery on display, it appeared as though she were swiveling a camera on a tripod around a… cave. Made entirely out of cubes. With more creatures wandering around. Also made entirely out of cubes.
Strange. The various cube-shaped creatures at least were similar enough to the wolf’s stuffed monstrosities for a pattern to be recognizable. But Wednesday couldn’t recall Enid ever mentioning some sort of obsession with cubes.

OREnid is given a second chance to save everyone after Wednesday’s death by going back in time and preventing history from repeating itself.
Wednesday didn’t expect anything to come from being forced to move to Nevermore. At least until the mysteries of the local murders seem to be surrounded by her werewolf roommate with sad eyes.
