Quaritch was a bad man, he knew that, but when he is put into a situation where his biggest enemies watch his every move and control his actions, he has to come to the reconning that maybe he doesn't have to be. Spider was not making his decisions any easier.

Quaritch is kidnapped by the Sullys and is forced to partake in Na'vi culture and hang out with the Sully family more than he wants too. On the bright side, Spider is there.
