Summary
Deep in the woods, there lived a witch.
He was reclusive and rarely seen, and provided the serfs and lords of the Black Estate with elixirs, ointments, tinctures and protections to cure their ills. The witch required that the payment and supplies for this be brought to him at the start of each season. It must, the witch insisted, be brought personally by the Black heir.
But Sirius had run away and now it fell on Regulus, the way all of Sirius’s responsibilities had suddenly fallen on him.
