Summary
“And what are you doing here, hyung? Is it because you have no friends either?”
“I may be an introvert, but I have plenty of friends, Hanjin-ah,” Dohoon grinned.
“Okay,” Hanjin said, letting out a breathless sigh. “Go have fun with your friend.”
Dohoon smirked, taking Hanjin’s hand and dragging him toward the elevator.
“Dohoon hyung!” Hanjin yelped, stumbling to keep up. “What are you doing?!”
“What am I doing?” Dohoon laughed, loud and bright. “I’m hanging out with my friend, of course!”
or: Hanjin made up some fake plans for Christmas. Dohoon saw straight through him and stayed behind in the dorm.

Summary
He's long past that Hanjin who'd burst into tears at the most inopportune moments, getting snot all over his face and having to have the others clean him up. Jihoon handing him tissues, Youngjae wiping his face so gently, Kyungmin clinging to his arm in comfort. He's learnt to hold his tongue, to keep those big feelings locked away in a box that he only opens when he's completely, truly alone. He's learned not to make a fuss.
This kind of vulnerability would bring it all crashing down. This — him unable to move on the bathroom floor, instincts overtaking any kind of rational thought, would have his capable, quiet demeanour crumbling.
When the members leave for the holidays, Hanjin finds himself going through an unexpected, late presentation. He intends to go through it alone — that's how he's always handled things, so why would he stop now?
But when Junghwan shows up, insistent on taking care of him, Hanjin finds he doesn’t have the heart to tell him no.

Summary
To: baby giraffe
Hi! I’m an upcoming third year high school student from Henan, China. I came to the library to escape the summer heat and accidentally saw the messages between you and baby chick. The person forgot to log out before leaving and left the screen open, so I saw everything.
I’m not a nosy person, I swear. But I couldn’t just ignore it after reading your message. If it’s alright with you, I’d like to be your new penpal!
I’m going to study abroad in Korea after I graduate high school next year, so I thought it would be good to make some Korean friends before I go :)
I hope to hear back from you!
P.S. You can call me rabbit!
The story of two penpal friends, rabbit and baby giraffe meeting in the most unexpected way on Christmas week.

Summary
“The Han River flows into the ocean, right, hyung?” Hanjin asks. “If I actually did… do you think the waves would carry me back home... to China?” Hanjin exhales.
Hanjin missed home. Korea had never felt like one, even if he tried to live in it for two whole years. Home was nowhere near here but entirely elsewhere, and yet somehow, he still felt a home forming. A warmth, one that emanated welcoming and comfort. Not in the form of a house, but of the person in front of him.
“I wish it’d carry you back to me instead,” Shinyu says. Hanjin’s mouth shuts, so he continues.
”I wish it’d carry you back to me instead so I could finally take care of you, be more than just my roommate from back then,” he confesses.
Above all else, Shinyu would always want the dongsaeng he used to room with. Even if time only granted him a speck, he’d still want to see his dongsaeng sleeping in his arms again. That thought, long since forgotten, had found itself again.
