“What is that smell?”
“Smell?” Gojo spits the word at him like Nanami is the crazy one. How can Gojo say it like that? Nanami isn’t the grown man who smells like gardenias and jasmine. Perfectly sweet and bitter.
“Are you wearing perfume?” Nanami is so hot. He feels like he’s on fire and only Gojo can put him out. “It’s nice. I love it.”
He pushes forward and Gojo stands. He’s taller and older than Nanami but not broader. Nanami feels like he could do anything in this moment. Infinite youth and strength and all he wants is to find that scent that makes him want to slam into his boss. Nanami doesn’t want to share. He wants to fill his life with that scent. No one else should be able to have it. No one would appreciate it like him.
Alternate Summary: Nanami has lived nearly a quarter of his life believing he is a beta, but meeting Gojo Satoru, his new employer, has Nanami feeling things he's never experienced before. New urges, new wants, and new instincts. All of it is for Gojo. Gojo unintentionally triggers his new assistant to present and everything changes for both of them.

Taeui glared at Ilay. Suddenly, he was right in front of him before he knew it.
Taeui shut his mouth. Ilay’s expression disappeared as if he had washed it. He was expressionless like a doll, and he gently lowered his gaze making Taeui’s goosebumps rise. Facing that gaze, Jeong Taeui felt a chill in his heart.Suddenly, Ilay raised his hand. Then, he covered Taeui’s cheeks with both hands. Their faces were close enough to touch.
Ilay's eyes are like glass, Taeui suddenly thought. It is pitch-black, non-reflective glass, and it is impossible to tell what is inside.
It seemed that the glass had flashed in an instant."I think I'm crazy,” Ilay murmured with a low whisper.

Megumi seemed to be thinking about it; Gojo did his best not to feel offended. No kid really liked their parents, right?
"Nah," was what Megumi settled on.
"Gumi, we only have a week. I'm begging you, tell me what you want for your birthday."
"Anything's fine."
Gojo sighed. He could feel a migraine coming on.
"Cake? Do you want chocolate or something?"
"Confetti cake."
"Aha! Now we're getting somewhere!" Gojo wracked his brain for any previous mention of confetti cake, only to come up blank. It should be fine, right? Google was free. "Alright, so what presents do you want with your confetti cake?"
"Dunno."
Back to the cycle of doom.
