Summary
Bound by a crown and a desperate need for protection, the marriage between Baelor and Maekar Targaryen was never meant to be a fairytale.
It was a shield against the Blackfyre threat. It was a political maneuver to secure Baelor’s path to the throne. It was to protect the youngest son of King Daeron II.
Maekar must learn what it means to be a married omega to an alpha he feels he barely knows.

Summary
He was here, she realized with a start. Here. In the townhouse. It was barely dawn. His heart beat loudly in his chest and his scent – like a summer morning brightening the day – filled up the air. Elain couldn’t breathe as all of her senses focused on him – an instinct she wasn’t sure how to work against. She hadn’t actively decided to leave her room, yet here she was in the stairwell. He noticed her a few seconds later, looking up the staircase with wide eyes and a slightly opened mouth. He was so beautiful, she thought. It was unfair.
