A pause. Then thunderous applause.
Jeonghan allowed himself the barest flicker of a smile — the kind that promised far more than it gave away and stepped forward, walking with the easy confidence of someone who’d known this would happen all along.
He joined the two other champions near the front of the hall, but not before casting one last glance over his shoulder.
Joshua was still seated, legs now crossed elegantly, one brow raised. She clapped — slowly — with deliberate grace, her gaze fixed on his like a challenge wrapped in velvet.
“Let’s see then,” her eyes seemed to say, “just how impressive a Malfoy truly is.”
