Summary
Sheriff Jill Valentine fights to uphold the law alongside men who never saw her as their equal. Claire Redfield, a well-known bounty hunter, brings criminals to the sheriff's office doorstep time and time again.
Claire and Jill were childhood friends, but as they entered adulthood, circumstances forced them onto separate paths and into different towns. Despite spending years apart and only seeing each other occasionally, they gradually became inseparable in every way that mattered, forming a deep emotional dependence on one another while relying on each other for comfort, strength, and a sense of home neither of them found anywhere else.
But when things start to get complicated, they’ll have to decide what matters more. The law, or each other.
