    Minho’s mind felt like it was short-circuiting, unable to reconcile the image before him with the reality he knew.
    Chan propped himself up on one elbow, his gaze softening as he took in Minho’s panicked expression. “Hey, hey, it’s okay,” he said gently, his voice steady and soothing. He reached out as if to touch Minho’s shoulder, but Minho flinched away, clutching the backscratcher like a lifeline.

    “Don’t come any closer!” Minho snapped, his voice trembling. “What the hell is going on? Where am I? And why the hell do I look like this?!”

    Chan’s brows furrowed in confusion for a moment before realization dawned on his face. His lips parted as if to speak, but he hesitated, his gaze flickering to Minho’s swollen belly.

    “You’re in the future.”
