Summary
Mist nets (kasumi-ami) are used by ornithologists and biologists to capture birds and bats for banding. Resembling volleyball nets, Japanese hunters used mist nets for over 300 years to catch birds. This story doesn’t include mist nets, but Akaashi catches an owl anyway.

Summary
“Are you laughing at me, Kenma.”
“Not really.”
“There’s a smile right there,” Kuroo narrows his eyes. “There! You smiled.”
Kenma frowns, but his lips can’t keep a serious line. With an exaggerated roll of his eyes, he takes his cup and drinks a long sip of the hot tea. Kuroo grimaces. “How can you still drink it that hot.”
“I told you witches are dragons in disguise.”
“And I seem to recall I sent you a book belying that theory.”
“It’s never been a theory.” Another sip, another golden glare. Kuroo licks his lips at the joyfulness of Kenma’s gaze, and smells his tea. “Also, that book was garbage.”

Summary
When Akaashi eventually drags himself out of his bedroom, he looks sort of hazy. But it's a proper thing, the way people are supposed to look when they've just woken up, as opposed to the typical, I've-gone-four-days-on-six-hours-of-sleep exhausted look.
So there's a possibility that Bokuto didn't actually screw things up at all. There's a possibility that something about last night worked.
Bokuto doesn't know where he stands on his feelings for his new roommate. He thinks he likes him. He definitely likes sleeping with him. Not that anyone has to know about that.

Summary
Bokuto sees him every day, every commute, at the final train. The stranger he only knows as Train Guy. Wrapped in coats, mystery, and distance - that is, until Bokuto breaks their familiar silence. He struggles with the hardest part of befriending someone he thinks he already knows: taking a step back to reevaluate all his assumptions.
He finds the easiest part is getting to learn about Train Guy all over again.
