“Dark days are—it’s here.”
Taehyung went stiff and then shuddered, slumping forward into Jimin’s waiting arms, sliding off the couch and onto the floor. Jimin caught him easily, cradling the taller against his chest and running his fingers through the powder-blue hair reassuringly while they waited for Taehyung to come back to them.
No one said anything for a moment, and then Seokjin clutched at his chest at the same time Taehyung let out an anguished scream. Their lights flickered as power surged through the building which seemed to tremble on its very foundations, light bulbs popping in showers of glass all over the apartment as their appliances groaned and smoked.
And then, just as suddenly as it had happened, Seoul was plunged into an infinite, stretching darkness.
Once in a hundred lifetimes a Star falls. With the world's magic dying, everyone wants to get their hands on the power that the fallen star will give them regardless of the cost.
But when that star ends up being nothing like what they expected, it becomes a race against time for Bangtan to save it from those who would snuff it out--even it it means being incomplete forever.
