Summary
Jake has never liked Heeseung.
The previous manager had been pretty chill, letting Jake help out with pretty much whatever he wanted (within reason). When she retired two years later, Heeseung stepped up to take over.
Looking back, Jake is a little surprised Heeseung didn’t kick him to the curb after the promotion, because Heeseung’s disdain for Jake was palpable.
Heeseung is so lucky Jake loves these dogs with his entire heart, or he’d be long gone by now.
