However, Wine couldn’t help the dread that had coursed through him as he’d heard Faifa’s message. While Faifa had been away, he’d always been available for Wine through incessant messages and videos of what he was eating, sights he was seeing. Even with different time zones, Faifa had still made time to lull him to sleep with calls at night, just like their initial “dating” days, knowing Wine now struggled to sleep alone.
