Summary
I spent two centuries in silence, haunted by the memory of the mate I couldn’t save.
I thought I had buried the world with them—buried my purpose, my rage, and the monster that lived inside my bones. But when the scent of blood began to crawl through the forest again, calling me back to the place I once swore I’d never return to, I stepped out of my solitude and into the shadows of the mansion that had made me what I am.
Everything has changed.
The halls are filled with strangers—new proxies, new loyalties, new rules. Old ghosts linger in every corner. And then there’s him. The one with the smile carved too wide and the ego sharper than my blades. I wanted nothing to do with his games, yet he kept pushing, provoking, peeling back pieces of me I thought were long dead.
