It’s quiet, for a moment, until Neil feels movement on the bed and Andrew tugging on the arm covering his eyes. Neil feels weirdly vulnerable, a feeling he doesn’t often have, especially around Andrew. He opens his eyes to see Andrew sitting up in the bed, facing him. Their hands are still together. Neil focuses his eyes on that.
“You’re dealing with touch deprivation.” Andrew says it almost clinically, like how Neil would imagine Betsy saying it. He’s not sure he likes that comparison.
