Things get complicated for him when he keeps crossing paths with a man in black who seems determined to save him.
When the line he cannot cross begins to blur, Jay will make his choice with all of the love he can offer to the Earth; and if the world crumbles beneath his feet, so be it. He’s light as a feather, and Cole is heavy as stone.

A twist on evil Jay that takes place shortly after the Oni Trilogy, with a healthy dose of bruise. An extremely wholesome and heartwarming love story.

Summary
Stuck in Northern Ninjago and moving from village to village looking for Wu, Jay and Cole have their own demons they're battling. Cole is concerned about the weight he's gained since Wu's disappearance, feeling like he's gone soft and his body isn't the temple it should be. Jay is trying to hide the freckles and scars that litter his body, but makeup is really hard to come by out here.
They're also fighting the deep attraction they feel for each other...
Though, one snowed-in night in an abandoned hunting cabin alone with each other is all it takes for several truths to come out.
