Summary

Kita Shinsuke, a former member of a rebellion group against the Lord Ruler, suffered the worst of the mistreatment when he was captured and put to work on a noble's plantation. The twins unknowingly saved his life when they crashed his Lord's meeting with the Steel Ministry, and his powers as a Nicroburst caught their attention.
He may have been originally kept as a power source, but their intimacy has bloomed over time. Kita may just be the only person privy to the gentle hearts within these two monsters.

Summary
Deep within the ocean, the surface world is unaware of the inhumane experiments conducted on human beings in the Hadal blacksite. Fukunaga was none the wiser when brought on as a researcher. Climbing the ranks from testing on ocean wildlife and specimens, he met Hiroo when it was assigned as a test subject. Regardless of the situation separating them, closeness brew between them over time.
A recent containment breach left Shouhei out of commission for a significant amount of time-- while also freeing a considerable amount of the captive experiments. Yet, despite access to its freedom, other researchers have begun to notice the leviathan hovering outside the facility, waiting. Since his slow recovery, Fukunaga pays frequent visits to the transformed version of Hiroo beyond the facility walls.

There is something more satisfying about hearing the way skin rips under one’s teeth than the way bread tears as it is bitten. Bread is too soft, too malleable. Too flimsy to absorb the entirety of a devil’s influence. So he eats right from the corrupted source.
