He’s replaying it. Over and over. Gravity. Spun around. Missed you. Every word makes his pulse thunder harder.
Bachira keeps going, softer now. “But this—Greece, this bed, your dumb Kaiser stories—I like this. I like you. I like this us.”
Isagi grips the comforter, heart crashing.
