Summary
The last thing anyone would expect to happen after leaving their apartment for the first time in months, for anything other than investigating the recent mysterious death of their brother, would be to end up infected with a telepathic monster transformation worm miles away from home with a bunch of strangers. Yet, this is exactly where fate placed Kiran Kumar, a wood elf who has only ever known Baldur’s Gate.
Lathander’s light and Raven Queen’s night. Devotion and Vengeance. Oath and Oathbreak. Growth and Decay. Sun and Moon. Blood and Water. Life and Death. Duality has suddenly become Kiran’s whole world, challenging her view of reality. Will she have to choose or will she be able to sew both sides together? How is someone who is struggling with their own demons and haunted by their own mind supposed to be the savior of Baldur’s Gate? Kiran will have to step up to face her clandestine fate and her feelings for the party's vampire rogue.
