hide‘s perplexed gaze directed up to seek’s face, but he couldn’t manage to fathom what he was thinking through his glazed and worn out eye. hide stood, stiff, looking down at his hand again as if to fully register that this actually happened to him, seek, the one who seemed to keep others in check—but right now, not himself.
“jeez, i…” the entity was at a loss of words. how can he comfort if he didn’t know exactly how he felt at that moment?
“it’s… uh, something.” seek lets out a raspy chuckle, lowering his hand. so melancholic, a drastic difference in personality than his usual. “don’t get me wrong, i was going to be more calm— but… i’m…”his breath hitched. “i don’t know if i can be mad anymore.”
