Summary
The lantern, shining warmly, gently floats to join the rest of the others in the sky, carrying all of their hopes and wishes for this world, hopefully for the gods to see and grant. Qiqi watches, practically craning her neck all the way back, until she can no longer detect her lantern amongst the others. Still, her eyes are focused on the radiant show of lights, dancing through the midnight blue sky.
Beautiful.
Baizhu thinks to himself.
He turns to look at Zhongli and Qiqi, who are immersed in watching the sky, bathed in a warm glow. He almost feels like a lantern himself.
