“All these other students have everything that life could offer them and possibly more at the tip of their fingers. There’s nothing that can bind them to this agreement, which means they could honestly bail out at any given second. In short, they’re not trustworthy.”
Mona scoffs. “And what makes me trustworthy?”
The corner of Scaramouche’s lips curl into his menacing Cheshire grin as the tip of his index finger slightly lifts Mona’s head by her chin.
“You’re not, you just have more to lose.”
