Will took a moment to process the words, but all he could come up with to say in response was, "What?"
"These confessionals always sucked because I knew no matter what I said, I was being judged," Mike explained. "There wasn't someone I trusted on the other side." There was a beat where, for a second, Will was sure he could hear Mike's heart beating. "But we trust each other." It wasn't a question. Will liked that. Liked that Mike still thought of him that way. "So maybe if we just lay it all out on the line, not having to even see the other... maybe we'll get back to how things were."
"But... we already know all of each other's secrets." Will was sure his tone gave away the obvious lie.
"Not anymore."

Will and Mike are tasked with scoping out Roane Cemetery Church for clues, and the awkwardness between them can't be ignored any longer.
