It’s not entirely his fault, to be fair; you had met him first, and to your credit, you’d adjusted to the additional presences of Marc and Khonshu somewhat frighteningly quickly, but you trust Steven implicitly in a way Marc doesn’t think will ever be extended to him.

He supposes he should be glad you're not doing anything illegal, but he can't exactly get over the fact that you're writing Spiderman smut on commission. And to top off his string of smart decisions, he then opts to offer himself up as "Spiderman inspiration". Really, he's a genius. (Read: dumbass). He's just lucky you like him.
