Summary
Edge is slowly rebuilding—but some wounds refuse to heal.
In the wake of Breath of Fire, Cloud and Tifa try to hold onto a quiet life with the family they’ve built. When children begin exhibiting strange abilities linked to Jenova’s legacy, they find themselves pulled into a crisis that blurs the line between protection and destruction. As the situation escalates and their family begins to fracture, each of them is forced to confront how far they’re willing to go to keep the people they love safe—and what it might cost them if they fail.
Jenova’s Children is a character-driven sequel set after the events of Advent Children Complete, exploring guilt, found family, and the long shadow left behind when the past refuses to stay buried.

Summary
Every SOLDIER has been exposed to Mako to strengthen his body and enhance his reflexes. But there is one thing the Mako cannot touch – his mind. Cloud Strife's mind is exceptionally malleable after being fractured and manipulated so many times. Now that he's settled into a routine at Seventh Heaven, what will it take for him to accept this weakness and allow himself happiness? Cloti angst and fluff.

Summary
The thing about survivor's guilt is it doesn't care if there's nothing you could possibly have done to change what happened when you were sixteen.
The thing about being sent back in time to try anyway is that you end up having to save the world using such weapons as cookies, arson, and telling the truth.
