Logan joins in with the chorus of laughter that fills their small and homey living room. Because, even if he’s unemployed with no future, with unread text messages from his best friend, he’ll figure it out. Because he always does.
And he thinks this for hours, that he’ll figure everything out, everything will align and fall into place, but then, after he gets ready for bed, says his goodnights to his family, and then lies in bed, he gets another text message.
