“Johnny. Please, just-” He sighed, sounding all exasperated. “I need you to answer me. Cris told me you’ve been drinking more.” He said, his voice raw, as if he’d be crying. Hah. Crying for Johnny of all people. It almost made him laugh. Despite the tiredness in his own voice, the ache he felt in his throat and head, he managed to croak out a simple “I’m fine.” .
It was short, sweet, and didn’t leave much room to argue. If he said he was fine, Kenshi would believe him. It flew at the Wu Shi academy, and it’d fly now.

But of course, just like everything else, Johnny would get his way. He loved getting things for Kenshi, seeing the way his face lit up, seeing the way his face would twitch trying not to smile, the sighs he’d fake- To die for.
