Sasuke was pondering upon the haphazardly strewn paperbacks across the floor and whether he would leave it for another day when a very sharp and very loud “Hello?” suddenly rang through the room.
There was a yellow-haired boy leaning over the counter yodelling away.
Sasuke cut him a glare as he made his way to the desk. “Libraries are supposed to be quiet.”
“Oh, right—sorry,” the boy mumbled sheepishly. He looked around Sasuke’s age—maybe younger, considering his lack of basic library etiquette. “I was just looking for—um, a book. Can you help me?”
“That’s what I’m paid below minimum wage to do,” Sasuke replied drily.
