“Joonghyuk-ah,” he began, but the words died quickly in his mouth.
Yoo Joonghyuk sat boneless, slumped against the wall. One belt—the one that carried his sword—was tossed by his feet while the other was still halfway threaded through the loops. The zipper to his pants was completely open and wrinkled from how it was pushed down below his waist.

Summary
There was an old statue in one of the empty corners of a museum near Yoo Jonghyuk’s school. It was not as popular as the others, people look at it once and move on to more interesting statues.
Demon King of Salvation, the statue was called. It is a sculpture of a man sitting on a train while holding a book. The bangs were cleverly crafted as to shadow his eyes and the aging stone was starting to chipped away at his fingers. As if he was slowly disappearing.

Salvation was born when Kim Dokja died. Kim Dokja died long before then. He died on the freezing floor of the throne room, as his kids were executed. It WAS his fault, he shouldn't have done it, he knows now, he knows, just please give his kids back.
Kim Dokja cried, cried until he couldn't anymore. Salvation never mourned, he couldn't, he shouldn't, but here he was crying in the arms of the crown prince, he was dying all over again. Salvation was stronger than Kim Dokja, but not strong enough, he didn't wanna live through this again. Never again.
Yoo Joonghyuk usually didn't care, care for his throne, care for his people, care for him. But something compelled him to help. A man curled up in a corner. Yoo Joonghyuk didn't usually care, not after Yoo Mia died. But something in him told him to help. Maybe he saw a reflection of himself, maybe he saw the same shard of a broken mirror, both broken men, with broken families. Yoo Joonghyuk knelt down.
"..Stop crying"
