Shane didn't think too hard about any of the decisions his body seemed to be making. He trusted his omega to find a safe place to hide. Alone and in distress. Ilya's alpha couldn't stop whining in his head aching to find the omega. He yearned to comfort and alleviate the pain and panic. Ilya wished for the foresight to have followed Shane from the second he walked away. Talking to the rookies about some bullshit video game meant nothing compared to the safety of his mate. It meant nothing compared to taking down a predator.
