A low groan escaped his mouth as his back slowly slid down the brick wall. It left a red streak of blood behind until his body finally rested on the chilly ground. He used what little strength he still had to check the wound on his side and hissed in pain.
Was this really the end for the famous Mr. Mole?
He thought so until a stranger unexpectedly knelt down next to his frail body and put his fingers in the pool of blood, licking them. “I’ve never tasted blood this good. Give me more.”
