Summary
“Your brother hates me.” Ao’nung mumbles, tangling his fingers in the net he’s currently trying to detangle. Lo’ak and him have been out all morning, setting nets out in the reef and checking old ones.
“He doesn’t hate you- He just has issues making friends, he was like this back home too. Neteyam also has a staring problem, courtesy of our mother,” Lo’ak says, bumping his shoulder against Ao’nung’s and handing back the net, watching closely as Ao’nung casts it perfectly.
or
Ao’nung thinks Neteyam hates him because he’s been avoiding him since he got shot, and when he does look at him, it’s usually with an indescribable look on his face.
Neteyam simply doesn’t know how to tell Ao’nung he likes him, resorting to staring and pining from afar.
Until Lo’ak figures it out and perhaps forces his big brother to get a move on. Out of love of course, not because watching them both pine is making him sick.

“And what did you tell them this time to stop their pestering?” Neteyam asked, tugging at the arrows feathered end.
Aonung stopped in his tracks as he asked that question. His eyes were wide as he realised what he said to them.
“Aonung?”
He slowly turned his head to Neteyam and said, “You promise not to be mad?”
“Of course, why would I be?” Neteyam replied, twirling the arrow in his fingers.
“I may have accidentally told my parents my mate was…”
“...you.”
Neteyam stopped fidgeting with the arrow, “what?”

“Sorry, I can’t hear you over the sound of your teeth chattering.” If looks could kill then Dabi would be six feet underground in an instant. It’s only a noise from Shigaraki’s nintendo and Shuichi calling him for backup in whatever game they’re playing that has Shig’s eyes turning back to the game.
It’s oddly peaceful, and Dabi actually doesn’t mind sprawling out on the couch on his phone while the TV plays loudly in the background, only coupled by Shuichi’s and Shigaraki’s games, and the rest of the League’s ongoing conversations.
That is until Jin says, “Oh, shit. I think this one died.”
AKA how Dabi goes from being the League's only functional heater to being Shigaraki's personal one and not necessarily against his own wishes.

Summary
“Remember when you were in that fight against Endeavor?” Dabi asks.
“Yeah. I may have heard of it.” Disrespectful as shit, too. Just woke up and they were already siccing the then-top hero in Japan at him.
“Oh, fuck you,” Dabi says, but without any heat. “I’m just saying – no one in this household likes the fucker very much. After you did that, they all got kind of in their heads about you.”
Tomura takes a moment to process this. “What, even you?”
alternatively: Shigaraki Tomura is apparently the equivalent of catnip to the Todoroki family after beating up Endeavor. Dabi is terrible at sharing, as per usual.

Summary
"You look very tired," Shoto observes, studying the shadows under his eyes. "Your eyebags are truly impressive. They show your dedication. You should be proud of them. They make you look like a very exhausted, very committed panda."
Aizawa's face does something funny. It's not quite an expression, more like several micro-expressions happening at once and canceling each other out. His eye twitches. Just once. A tiny twitch that most people would miss, but Shoto is very good at reading faces, at cataloging the changes that reveal what people are actually thinking beneath what they're saying.
"I need more coffee," Sensei mutters, apparently addressing the ceiling. "So much more coffee."
or: A quirk makes Shoto lose his filter, and Class 3-A learns that beneath the stoicism is a cuddle-hungry boyfriend who thinks Katsuki is a "prickly peach." Katsuki is mortified. Aizawa needs a raise.
