Summary
A series of stories set between the five years after season 6 and the finale, filling in the gaps of the relationship between Pacey and Joey, and the gang. The story starts out as canon compliant as a jumping off point from Joey Potter and the Capeside Redemption, but all bets are off after that. This is a story about Pacey and Joey rebuilding their friendship and discovering whether they are meant to be more.
The title is in reference to the song by the same name by Ingrid Michaelson, which reminds me of them during this time. On the album Slow the Rain if anyone has interest in giving it a listen. :)

Summary
S5 finale canon divergence fic. No airport chases, no reunions with forced relationships. Pacey and Joey are stuck in Capeside for the summer, working their respective jobs at the Yacht Club. To make the most of their boring circumstances, a bucket list of adventures varying from wild, to random, to trite is concocted. Will Pacey and Joey complete them in time? Will the proximity and ridiculous shenanigans produce even bigger news to share with their friends when it comes time to return to Boston?
I don't expect this fic to be as in-depth (nor anywhere near as long) as This Could Be It. This is a stand-alone - *not* connected to that fic. I have no idea how often I'll post, but I'm going to try to work through this insane brain fog and I kindly request some patience as I do so. I came up with a whole outline for this fic and thought I'd see where it goes. ❤️
