   Summary

   Water surrounded him on all sides as he drifted through the currents, letting them take him wherever they pleased. Others might have found the situation uncomfortable, being in a place where there was no air, with the crushing pressure of tons upon tons of water above them, the claustrophobia of the diver's helmet limiting one's view, but he found it comforting. Down here, he was safe, much safer than in the world up above. Down here, he was free, free to go wherever he liked, do whatever he liked, free from the bothersome and exhausting aspects of social interaction.
