The directness of it arrived without ceremony and Molly had no prepared response for it.

Molly O'Shea is sad. She has been sad for a long time. So has Karen Jones. They are both sad in different ways. They sit together at the swamp in Shady Belle and don't talk about how sad they both are.

This time when he looks up Thor is smiling at him. There's a smirky tilt to one corner of his mouth.
Bruce promptly mines into a ravine, falls thirty blocks and dies in a pool of lava.Thor and Bruce bond over Minecraft. Fluff ensues.

“Right on schedule,” Josh agreed. And it was true - Simon had seen Richard Stern’s bright red car pull up in the corner of his eye just a second ago. That whole family worked like clockwork, it seemed.
Markus’s arm tensed. “Just leave him alone and he won’t bother us…what the hell?”
Simon looked up and followed Markus’s gaze to the front doors of the school, where Connor Stern himself was standing. He looked terrible; his normally wrinkle-free uniform was rumpled, his hall monitor sash that he usually wore so proudly was missing, and it was obvious that he had tried to fix his hair, but it still hung more in his face than it had that morning.
And, of course, there was the black eye and split lip.

In which it rains in Wakanda, Thor sets fire to his room on accident, and somehow a storm will have to save them both.
