It couldn't get him anymore.
That's what he told himself over and over, scribbling into his notes and typing it down in a crazed haze. When his dormmate had come home that day, letting out a scream he could barely comprehend before he hit the floor.
Suicide watch for three days before he was let out and able to return to university.
Whispers followed him, stares digging into him. He was back in that damned cave again, swimming and desperately mining into the wall for safety.It can't get him anymore.

Summary
Robert had, in his opinion, become unwillingly fond of this group of people once deemed irredeemable. Seeing their growth over the little time he’d been with them was a beautiful experience, something he was glad to have. They truly brought out the name ‘The Phoenix Program’ as the Z-Team.
That was the issue, however. Becoming fond of these people, letting them all have a special place in his heart whilst knowing they each had a problematic past—some of which he had no clue about.
He wanted to believe he’d always be able to accept them, flaws and all...————
OR- Robert has trust issues that the Z-Team somehow worked their way around, thus leading to certain revelations feelings worse than he can probably handle.

:: He/They (possibly trans idk yet) + French Avery, has a sister who is ~10 months older than him, and I believe they'd be quite emotionally intelligent/competent.:: It/Its for TKiY, in which it refers to itself as 'we' and 'our' and such (like the royal kind).
:: He/Him D3lord3, his real name being Derward (meaning Deer guardian; Door guardian, doorkeeper) + Half-Filipino.

other things of note is that BOTH of these works will feature heavy topics (suicide attempts (current or past), self-harm ideation, obsessive/possessive behaviours in various ways, etc...) and I will do my best to tag and warn accordingly.
