Summary
Lo'ak blames himself for Neteyam's death, and his father's behavior doesn't help him to get better at all. Lo'ak is hurt, Lo'ak is in pain and yet no one sees him.
Sure, his siblings are there for him, Payakan is still an attentive ear when Lo'ak needs to relieve some of his everyday burden. But he still hurts. Deeply. His brother's death left a gaping hole inside and he does not intend on closing it any time soon, perhaps he finds a bit of comfort in it. Yet it eats him alive.
But what if the only things that kept him together disappeared? What if everything vanished? What if the last threads, on which he's hanging, broke?
OR
Lo'ak actually pulls the trigger.

Summary
“That day– my first day,” she clarifies, eyes roaming all over his face like she’s searching for something. “You said when I’m ready, you need me.”
Frank’s mouth is dry and the world seems to be moving in slow motion as he watches her turn to press her lips against his palm. Her lips are a little chapped, and it’s the best thing he’s ever felt. “Mel.”
“Is that still true?” She asks, and it’s one of the many things he loves about her. Her ability to be to the point and direct. His throat bobs as he swallows, and he thinks this is it. This is the moment that all of the movies talk about. The one where he needs to be brave, where he needs to make the big move.
(or at the end of a long shift, Mel and Frank finally find each-other)

Summary
After the council turns on Payakan and Jake says the one thing he can never take back, Lo’ak finally breaks under the weight of everything he has been carrying: Neteyam’s death, his own survivor’s guilt, the ache of feeling like the family’s mistake, and the belief that no matter how hard he tries, he only ever brings ruin to the people he loves.
Kiri and Tsireya are too late.
In the aftermath, the Sullys are forced to bury a second son before they have even begun to survive the loss of the first, and Jake has to reckon with the damage he failed to see until it was irreversible. Somewhere beyond the reach of the living, Lo’ak finds Neteyam again—but even there, love cannot soften the truth of what has been left behind.

Summary
"You know, my dad came from a star." Lo'ak smiled softly yet proudly, pointing toward the illuminated night skies earnestly. "That one. Right there."
He didn't know when it began, the whole favoritism thing. At least that was how Lo'ak saw it. Everything was always about Neteyam this, Neteyam that; How he was the perfect son who could achieve anything— while Lo'ak was the screw-up. The outcast. The imperfect son.
All he wanted was one, specific thing.
And the current Jake, his father, wasn't gonna cut it. So Eywa intervenes.
Or;
Lo'ak dealing with Neteyam's death and his imposter syndrome at the same time. Maybe he finally gets to hear what he needed to hear now that he's the eldest brother. Ouch.
