Summary
Y/N was always told that the only way to be free is to be powerful, and if you aren’t born with power, you have to have the strength to take it. A long time ago, Y/N took it. She took power into her own hands. However, the one thing no one ever told her was that freedom comes with a price: the price to choose.
That seems obvious, doesn’t it? But it isn’t. When a person is given freedom after so long of being denied it, it’s like a slap to the face.
Now Y/N is suddenly faced with a fork in the road. She has to decide whether she will pick up a sword to defend or whether she will live out the rest of her life in selfish peace.
However, after the attack on Shiganshina, Y/N made a promise to someone close to her that she would join the scouts and use her power to protect people, but she has a problem. She isn’t scared of Titans. Far from it, actually. Instead, she is terrified of humans after everything they did to her. Because of this, she spent her entire life outside the walls.
