Aoki's done for the semester, the final paper he had to write for his Murakami seminar turned in two nights ago. Ida still has a week of exams left, but during one of their video calls last month, he'd asked if Aoki wanted to visit when he was finished, before everyone at Todai left for summer break. "Won't that be distracting?" Aoki asked, chewing on his lip as he twirled the pencil in his hand, "you'll have tests to study for," and Ida shook his head and said, "Just come. I want you here." Who was he to say no in the face of a request like that?
