Summary
San plucks the cigarette from its pack and rests it between her lips, shoving the box back in her bag and continuing to ruffle through old receipts. She pushes things around, dumps her lipstick into her lap, spreads her journals on the ground, San does everything but turn her purse inside out and still there is no lucky purple lighter.
In an eruption of frustration, San groans loudly, shoving everything back inside and tossing her purse onto the stairs beside her. Hanging her head, San takes the cigarette from her lips.
“Please universe, I’ll quit soon just give me this one moment of peace and serenity.” She may be prideful, but she’s not against begging.
“Need a light?”
San snaps her head up towards the velvety soft voice. Before her stands a woman so beautiful her mind goes blank. She blinks at the other woman, eyebrows scrunched together and mouth falling slightly agape.
Dressed in all black, the woman is hot, so, so, hot.
