Summary
Young medical student Hannibal Lecter has two good things going for him. The first is his part-time job at the hospital morgue, which allows him to maintain his unorthodox diet. The second good thing is the blazing chemistry he has with his new roommate Will Graham. Right now life is good, but it's unsustainable in the long term. Will is bound to figure out sooner or later that Hannibal's home-cooked meals come from rather unconventional sources.
And when it becomes impossible for Hannibal to hide his secret any longer, things turn out not the way he expected.

"No," she replies. Her brow creases. "Should I?"
Doctor Lecter smiles, in a way that crinkles the corners of his eyes. "Some faculty are less welcoming than others. Not everyone translates a desire to pass on knowledge with making friends while they do it." She laughs, thinking of Professor Graham.
