Her companion cleared his throat, shaking his head. “I… sorry, this is my first time doing this… but I do want this to happen.” Normally she would ignore anything else. But it seemed the person was hesitating as well.
“I could pretend to be her.”
He blinks. “What?”

With war looming between Paradis and what's left of the world and a mission to carry out peace negotiations, Jean must fulfill his promise to Eren and be there for Mikasa for when she begins to move on.
