Satomi’s gaze flicked down at the mystery box. “Do you have a hotel this time?”
“I’m leaving tomorrow morning.” So yes.
“We can eat them there.”
“What’s wrong with your apartment?”
If Kyouji stepped foot in there after Satomi had spent multiple weeks fantasizing about Kyouji doing all sorts of stuff to him on pretty much every surface of his apartment he’d probably explode. Lacking the ability to admit that, Satomi instead said, “It’s always so hot at my place this time of year. The windows face the sun while it sets.”
“Alrighty,” Kyouji said brightly. Satomi was surprised, albeit glad, that Kyouji didn’t push him on his obvious lie. “Let’s go, then.”

It’s simple, just a hastily scrawled ‘order some room service if you get hungry’ that’s signed with a rabbit emoji.

Doppo is slow to reply, doing so cautiously. The look in Hifumi’s eye suddenly has a devious glint; something that clearly asks for trouble, even when it’s only between the two of them. “... What?”
“I’ll do it. I’ll date you!”
“I’ll be your fake boyfriend! Take me to work!”

Summary
Childhood promises were meant to be fleeting - but it appears that Izanami Hifumi never quite got the memo. As he and Doppo approach their 30th birthdays, still single pringles, he’s ready to cash in on the promise that says he finally gets to spend the rest of his life with the boy he’s loved since he was 5.
Too bad he just never had the foresight to think Doppo would turn him down.
in which Riou Mason Busujima is referred to by full name or not at all, Jakurai just wanted to go fishing, Doppo is convinced Hifumi is only in love with him for lack of anything better, and Hifumi doesn’t think it’s possible to want anything better than the best.
