“You look like you swallowed a frog.” Yingxing says as he makes some notes in the margin of his latest sketch - something that looks like a polearm or spear, from Jing Yuan’s vantage point at the other side of this table on the old man’s porch.
“How does that look different from swallowing any other supposed creature?” he returns. He feels odd. He should feel odd, after all.
Or, Jing Yuan dreams after the Phantylia attack. When he wakes up, it sort of becomes reality.
