On the first day, bright red envelopes spewed all manner of hateful words and threats, but as the days passed, and the community at large realized that their howlers were being immediately destroyed, their grievances manifested themselves instead onto unassuming parchment letters. Every day since the announcement, she combed through those letters, responded where she felt necessary, and passed along her deepest sympathies.
