Summary
Kyoshika Magadori spent her birthday with the rest of the Special Defense Unit, getting presents and well wishes from her peers... but there's a nagging feeling deep in her heart that leaves her unsatisfied.
That is, until the haughty Kurara Oosuzuki pays her a visit well into the night. After all, Kyoshika gave her the greatest birthday present she could ever ask for just a month prior.
She had to return the favor somehow.

Summary
For her birthday, Kurara Oosuzuki is used to fireworks shows, delicious five-course meals, and a plethora of the finest gifts imaginable, enough to cause the mind of any peasant to implode -- if they were lucky enough to listen in, that is.
Right now, however, in the midst of a war she had no intention of fighting -- there were no opportunities for such luxuries. Even if there were, she didn't quite want it. Something about celebrating with her fellow students just... rubbed her the wrong way. She couldn't figure out why, but it was her decision, and everyone else would have to abide by it. She WAS an Oosuzuki, after all. So they did as such. The day was spent without giving much attention to her.
...That is, for most of her fellow students, at least. Kyoshika Magadori wasn't going to go down that easily.

Summary
Mukuro Ikusaba has never questioned Junko Enoshima -- the two were twins, after all. Through thick and thin, hell and back, Mukuro's spent nearly every year of her life helping her sister slowly achieve her goals of bringing despair to humanity, and completes any operations calmly, quickly, and without breaking a sweat.
This time, though, things are different. When Sayaka Maizono, a longtime friend of Junko's, decides to take a short vacation away from her idol group, the opportunity suddenly presents itself to Junko to use it as leverage to plunge Japan into despair. She tasks Mukuro with keeping Sayaka trapped at her hotel while she attempts to destroy Sayaka's life behind the scenes.
Before she knows it, Mukuro is plunged into a mental warfare, as well as the most daunting job she's ever had to take... for all the wrong reasons.
